Registration for RES September 2007

Religious Education classes at St. Denis are scheduled to begin on September 9th and September 10th.  Sunday classes are held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. and Monday classes from 6:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  If you haven't registered your children for these classes, come in to the RES office before classes start.  The RES office is located in the new building of St. Denis School next to the school's main office.  For further information please call 610-449-7892.  We encourage early registration because families may choose which time is more convenient as long as space is available for that session.  The Archdiocese of Philadelphia's policy requires a minimum of 2 years of Religious Education before the reception of Reconciliation and First Eucharist and an additional 2 years of Religious Education before the reception of Confirmation in the 6th grade.

SCHOOL CLOSING NUMBER FOR ST. DENIS RES CLASSES - 1013 - RES classes will be cancelled when public schools are closed because of weather conditions.  If schools dismiss early on a Monday due to bad conditions, class for that evenign is cancelled.  The closing will be annouced on KYW.  We will also attempt to put it on the website and on the phone message at the office.

Home & Private School - Students who are being Home schooled or attending a private Catholic School are requested to call 610-449-7892 to make arrangements.  In order to receive information about sacramental programs we need to be sure you are on our mailing list.  Your help is greatly appreciated.

Catechists Needed - Catechists are needed on both Sunday Mornings (10:00 - 11:15 am) and Monday Evenings (6:45 - 8:00 pm).  Please call the RES office for additional information at 610-449-7892.
