Hospitality to New Parishioners

Hospitality is extended to our parishioners on a monthly basis after the 9:30 a.m. Mass in the Grimes Center for the purpose of welcoming our newly registered parishioners, providing time for all of our parishioners to socialize over coffee and donuts, and to spotlight the good work of our various parish ministries and organizations.  Our Hospitality Team visits new parishioners, prepares a welcome gift bag, and is on hand to introduce them to others at the monthly gatherings.

Who can participate?

Open to all parishioners who are willing to welcome our newly registered parishioners

The MOYC Playgroup meets once a month on Tuesday mornings in the Grimes Center from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  Children from newborn age to school age are welcome to attend.  While the children socialize with each other and play with parish toys, mothers are able to support each other and share their thoughts and ideas.

MOYC Mothers Only Meetings

Through the Mothers of Young Children Group, we have the opportunity to give and receive support, provide information, appreciate the vocation of motherhood, enrich our Christian values and share experiences with other mothers.

Who should participate?

The mothers only meetings are held once a month on a Wednesday evening in the Grimes Center from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.  In this supportive environment we will examine the role of motherhood, issues that our children and we face, and how to incorporate our faith in our relationships with our family and in raising our children.  Each meeting will focus on a certain topic that reflects the issues that mothers wish to discuss as well as those that incorporate our faith.
