Finance Council

Assists and guides the Pastor in achieving the fiscally and managerially responsible stewardship of the Parish’s material goods and financial resources.

What does it involve?

The Finance Council meets five times a year.

Who should participate?

Volunteers with a background in financial matters.  The Pastor approves all appointments to the Council.

 

Pastoral Council

Advises and assists the Pastor in areas of pastoral concern, including the development and implementation of a parish pastoral plan through consensus and prayerful reflection.

What does it involve?

The Pastoral Council meets five times a year.

Who should participate?

Volunteers who actively participate in the life of the parish.  Elections are held annually in the spring.  The Pastor approves all appointments to the Council.

 

RES Advisory Board

The RES Advisory Board is comprised of parents whose children attend St. Denis Religious Education School (RES) and advise the Director of Religious Education and the pastor in matters pertaining to the religious education of public and private school children.

Who should participate?

Membership is by election – meetings are held monthly.

 

School Advisory Board

The School Advisory Board is comprised of parents whose children attend St. Denis School and acts as a support in an advisory capacity to the pastor and principal.

Who should participate?

Membership is by election – meetings are held monthly

 

Youth Group – High School

Teens participate in activities while they learn more about our faith by becoming involved more in the parish life.  Service opportunities are available.

Who should participate?

Teens of high school age who want to develop friendships, a sense of belonging to the parish, an opportunity to serve the less fortunate, and who are interested in continuing their faith formation.
